I worked with Steve Marino on and off for about 5 years and I truly cannot say enough positive things about my experience working with him. I was a true beginner when I started training, and steve not only tailored a program to my abilities and goals, adjusting the difficulty as I progressed, he was also extremely supportive of the physical and emotional ups and downs I encountered along the way. I had a major surgery about a year after I met steve, and he took it upon himself to learn about the procedure and prepare for my needs when I was able to return to the gym. During my time with Steve I lost just over 100 POUNDS! Gained strength and Confidence, and steve was a huge part of that success.
I’m very happy with my personal trainer, Steve Marino. He’s knowledgeable about the human body, and though he can work me quite hard, he’s always aware of my limits, so as to avoid injury. He’s also a really nice guy, so while he’s sometimes a rigorous taskmaster, it’s always fun. I feel like I’m benefiting greatly from working with Steve, and I certainly recommend him to anyone looking for a trainer.
I’ve been training with Steve for over 5 years! I love training with him because of his holistic approach to training and open perspective. It seems like he is continuously learning about new approaches and ideas in his field. He switches things up often, from circuit and weight training, to more stretching focused sessions. I run a lot and my work involves repetitive shoulder and arm movements - he’s great about helping me strengthen my shoulder and lower body muscles so I can be more functional. He’s really fun to work with, and he was definitely a godsend during the quarantine when we stuck with our workouts on Zoom. I’ve definitely become stronger and healthier because of Steve and I thank him so much for that.
I’ve been on a fitness journey for the last 4+ years with Steve, and through every part of it he has helped me improve my physical and mental wellness. I was a couch potato when we started, and he got me back to the point where I could effectively run and play sports, during which time we focused on mobility and endurance. Once I was playing sports again, he focused me on strength and flexibility, which both improved my athleticism and helped prevent injuries. When I was dealing with a nagging injury, Steve asked constantly about how my physical therapy was going, and focused our training sessions on augmenting the work I was doing there.
Steve is not a one-size-fits-all trainer. He gets to know you personally, so that he can provide the best experience to get you where you want to be.
